Place the cone over your nose like a beak and tie the strings together at the back of your head. Tie a 12 inch piece of string through each hole. Staple it together and punch a hole in each side. Color the bag black and white to resemble a penguin.įorm a cone from a triangular piece of orange construction paper. Cut a neck hole in the bottom of the bag. Use a grocery bag and orange construction paper to turn into a penguin! Slit the front of the bag from top to bottom. The lid halves are glued on each side of the container to stick out slightly. The beak (orange foam triangle) is glued under the eyes, and the feet on the bottom. The wiggle eyes are glued on the top (the hole of the container is down so the child place it on their fingers.) Cut a circle or oval shape out of white felt to fit the front of the film container and hot glue it in place. I made these myself with the hot glue gun.įirst, cut the lid in half.
